After Microsoft's selling it's assets to Taiwanese firm Foxconn Technology and newly established firm HMD Global, recently Nokia was  famous for it's Lumia phones under the Microsoft licence. It's no more, don't expect new Lumia phones from Nokia. During the keynote at the Google I/O conference 2017, the company rolled out Google Assistant . The App is available for download from the Apple App Store. The app (Google Assistant)  features search engine and slick design. Some iOS embraced the Assistant because of their mixed reactions with Siri and hope Google Assistant can change the game. This raises questions whether Apple's acquisition of Dark Data and Google's promise of a full stand alone App will make improvements. It's upon a time to see if Google Assistant will dominate or be the second best. The world is still mourning the Cyber Attack, this all started on 12/05/2017 when computer networks lost access to their data on computers. According to statistics more than 200,000 computers' (especially Microsoft based) data was encrypted from more than 150 countries. The attack did not spare big organisations, government agencies and private companies including National Health services, Nissan Motor Co and others. Ransomware is a malware (malicious software) designed to target users' data. Once the computer is infected, the user looses access to data (data is encrypted) and  required to pay a specified fee to the perpetrators to decrypt data. According to the recent wanna cry, the victim was required to pay a fee $300 within 72 hours, failure to meet the allocated time, the fee was doubled or you had to loose your data permanently. After the success story of facebook live tv  streaming, the giant social media continues to position it's self as a one stop hub for entertainment and news online. The romours of facebook tv started spreading since December last year, now it's high time it became a reality. Facebook tv show is anticipated in June of this year. According to sources, the giant company will roll out the service on premium basis. The shows will be in two tiers, the shorter ones for low costs and the longer ones for higher budget. The shorter shows are expected to run at an interval of 5-10 minutes and refresh every 24 hours and the long ones between 5-30 minutes. Facebook want to fill the service with episodic contents and it's major target is to reserve billions of dollars spent on television advertisements.

  At Microsoft developer conference, the company announced that Apple will add iTunes desktop App to Windows store by the end of this year. Before users were able to download iTunes from internet but, now the windows 10 and Windows 10 S users will have full access to iPhone support, Apple music and the iTunes store.   The anticipated new App to the store will allow Windows 10 S users to have their music without having to upgrade to the pro iterations. This is giving a room to developers to construct apps with in Windows visual studio using Xamarine Live Player.

  At the event in New York, Microsoft announced a new version of windows 10 S, the lighter weight of windows 10. It's rumoured to be a powerful competitor of windows 10. It's a streamlined version of windows 10 capable of running on low cost devices.   Windows 10 S is targeting the Education market and Microsoft has partnered with different manufacturers of computers(OEMs) like, HP, Asus, Dell, Acer and others to provide a range of new Windows 10 S PCs for Education.   Everything that runs on Windows 10 S is downloaded from Windows Store,said by Terry Myerson, the chief of Microsoft's Windows at the event. Windows 10 S is seen as a competitor to Chrome OS as most schools had shifted to using cheaper  chrome books which run on Chrome OS.
