During the keynote at the Google I/O conference 2017, the company rolled out Google Assistant . The App is available for download from the Apple App Store. The app (Google Assistant)  features search engine and slick design. Some iOS embraced the Assistant because of their mixed reactions with Siri and hope Google Assistant can change the game. This raises questions whether Apple's acquisition of Dark Data and Google's promise of a full stand alone App will make improvements. It's upon a time to see if Google Assistant will dominate or be the second best. Now it's upon you to stick with Siri or try Google Assistant. iPhone is built on Siri integration, this gives it an upper hand to access device system than Google Assistant. This makes it appear like a third party programme since it is just downloaded from the Apple App Store. With Google Assistant, you're required to tap an extra button to confirm the actions. You can't use it in car while Siri

The world is still mourning the Cyber Attack, this all started on 12/05/2017 when computer networks lost access to their data on computers. According to statistics more than 200,000 computers' (especially Microsoft based) data was encrypted from more than 150 countries. The attack did not spare big organisations, government agencies and private companies including National Health services, Nissan Motor Co and others. Ransomware is a malware (malicious software) designed to target users' data. Once the computer is infected, the user looses access to data (data is encrypted) and  required to pay a specified fee to the perpetrators to decrypt data. According to the recent wanna cry, the victim was required to pay a fee $300 within 72 hours, failure to meet the allocated time, the fee was doubled or you had to loose your data permanently. The attack is said to have been spread through email phising, usually the perpetrators send an email with a malicious link

Opera is most popular for it's mobile browser, "Opera mini". On the other side of desktops and laptops, the competition is quite stiff between Opera and other browsers like Chrome, Edge and Firefox. This year Opera in it's errand to change the browsing experience, it introduced Neon browser with streamlined features like free VPN, native ad blocking and battery saver. In innovation world usually exits no comfort zone, Opera released a new browser codenamed opera   reborn  with  cool features of Neon and also more improved.  Opera answered one of the questions frequently asked by friends if it's possible to use whatsapp on their computers, i always recommended them to install the Android Emulators. After the success story of facebook live tv  streaming, the giant social media continues to position it's self as a one stop hub for entertainment and news online. The romours of facebook tv started spreading since December last year, now it's high time it became a reality. Facebook tv show is anticipated in June of this year. According to sources, the giant company will roll out the service on premium basis. The shows will be in two tiers, the shorter ones for low costs and the longer ones for higher budget. The shorter shows are expected to run at an interval of 5-10 minutes and refresh every 24 hours and the long ones between 5-30 minutes. Facebook want to fill the service with episodic contents and it's major target is to reserve billions of dollars spent on television advertisements.

  At Microsoft developer conference, the company announced that Apple will add iTunes desktop App to Windows store by the end of this year. Before users were able to download iTunes from internet but, now the windows 10 and Windows 10 S users will have full access to iPhone support, Apple music and the iTunes store.   The anticipated new App to the store will allow Windows 10 S users to have their music without having to upgrade to the pro iterations. This is giving a room to developers to construct apps with in Windows visual studio using Xamarine Live Player. 

  Instagram in it's move of being the giant photo app, is leaving no stone unturned. Instagram is extending it's services to emerging market and users of low bandwidth connection especially in Third World countries. Now you can instagram and upload photos on your mobile web browser than before. Previously it was only preserved for respective platforms of Android, Windows and iOS.   Instagram joins the footing of other top social networks like Twitter and Facebook which run on both native apps and mobile web browsers. Though some features are not yet supported like video uploads, direct messaging, stories and filters, users can now upload photos, search, like, web sign-up, browse, follow, share, explore tab and see notifications on mobile web no matter what device or network you are on. The web version is designed to overcome the burden of downloading app, data costs of downloading app and low memory space, however this raises   questions whether Instagram has plans
